CARRIE BROOKS

Senior Designer

Carrie is a senior designer who supports projects from schematic design through construction administration. She is passionate about building community through design that honors the unique history of each place and believes shared spaces are strongest when shaped collaboratively and reflective of local cultures and values. Her work is inspired by the interconnected health of human, plant, and animal ecosystems, and she strives to create beautiful, equitable, and meaningful spaces that support living, learning, and leisure.

Before joining BLD, Carrie was a Greater Boston team lead for GDIRC, the Global Design Initiative for Refugee Children, where she created and presented landscape designs to neighbors and stakeholders.
