Marianella joined the team at Bishop Land Design as a Designer after completing her Master’s degree at Northeastern University. While pursuing her degree in architecture, Marianella held an internship in San Fransisco, where she had the opportunity to collaborate on projects seeking LEED certification.

After finishing her degree in Architecture, Marianella worked on a variety of projects in Panama, from residential masterplans in the coastal area, to mixed-use projects in the city. While working there, Marianella noticed the way that recent urban housing development, specifically in the most sensitive ecological areas, affected the quality of life of the residents. She decided to move to the U.S. in order to expand her education in resilience and sustainability and the way that landscape could be applied as infrastructure in urban design.
